Professor Toshiko Suda Speaks at the 8th Academic Forum of the Japan Federation of Economic Societies.

Professor Toshiko Suda spoke at the 8th Academic Forum, "Prices, Wages, and Workers' Lives," hosted by the Japan Federation of Economic Societies and held at Waseda University on March 29, 2026 (Sunday). She also participated as a panelist in a panel discussion.

The Japan Federation of Economic Societies is a federation of 30 academic societies in the fields of economics and management. At this forum, representatives from three member societies of the Japan Federation of Economic Societies—the Japan Society for Household Economics, the Japan Society for Consumer Economics, and the Japan Society for Labor Relations—participated. Professor Toshiko Suda spoke on behalf of the Japan Society for Labor Relations, giving a lecture on the theme of "How Job-Based Personnel Systems are Changing Japanese Work Styles, Careers, Organizations, and Society." Furthermore, she participated in a panel discussion as a panelist alongside Professor Takeko Moriwaki of the University of Marketing and Distribution Sciences and Professor Nobuko Nagase of Otsuma Women's University. The moderator for the panel discussion was Mitsuhide Shiraki, Chairman of the Japan Economic Association Federation and Professor Emeritus at Waseda University.
