Welcoming Mr. Ben Whitehead from Appalachian State University

We were delighted to welcome Mr. Ben Whitehead, Practitioner in Residence at the Walker College of Business, Appalachian State University (USA), to the Graduate School of International Management (ABS), Aoyama Gakuin University.

Mr. Whitehead first visited ABS two years ago as a participant in the Executive MBA program at the Walker College of Business. It was therefore a pleasure to welcome him back to ABS in a new professional capacity.

During his visit, Mr. Whitehead met with Dean Takamichi Hosoda. Professor Charlie Chen, who is currently serving as a Visiting Professor at ABS, also joined the discussion.

The meeting focused primarily on collaborative activities being planned in Tokyo for next year, while also providing an opportunity to discuss the long-term development of the relationship between our two institutions. These conversations continued over lunch and resulted in a productive exchange of ideas regarding future cooperation.

ABS and the Walker College of Business continue to strengthen their relationship across a range of areas, including education, research, and international engagement. We hope that this visit will serve as another important step in further developing the partnership and creating valuable opportunities for students, faculty, and staff at both institutions.
