International Engagement: Jed Barron, CFA, Visits ABS

Jed Barron, CFA, an experienced professional in global finance and cross-border transactions, recently visited Aoyama Business School (ABS).

Mr. Barron has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including banking, investment research, asset management, private equity, and M&A advisory. He is currently based in Seoul, South Korea, and serves as Managing Director of Accolade Inc., where he advises clients on cross-border transactions and strategic initiatives.

During his visit, Mr. Barron met with Dean Taka Hosoda, Assistant Professor David Nichols, and Research Assistant Kim. They exchanged views on a wide range of topics, including the business environment in Asia, global finance, international business expansion, and the talent and expertise required for cross-border business.

Having built his career at the forefront of international finance, primarily in New York and Seoul, Mr. Barron brings extensive practical experience that closely aligns with ABS's commitment to international business education. Future collaboration between Mr. Barron and ABS is anticipated through educational initiatives focusing on cross-border business, as well as lectures and workshops for ABS students.
